Successful graduates can become an integral part of any health care facility, medical or dental office, as well as qualifying for several entry-level positions such as receptionist, health insurance claims processor, and medical records clerk, which are found in medical and dental offices, hospitals, clinics and insurance companies.

Training Objectives

  • The programme runs for 9 months, and consists of 8 modules, with a total of 727 contact hours, which would accumulate 32 credits.

  • Students will be assessed throughout the programme based on the five criteria set out in the student evaluation document.

  • MAA students will develop administrative skills through a variety of media, electronic equipment, practice in using computers, and manipulation of various software programmes, which will familiarize them with the automation of a medical office.
